Head Coach Adam Ratkevich has taken the Western Wildcats from a team that hadn’t won a game when he came to the program 4 years ago to their first playoff appearance for the football program last season. Coach Ratkevich and his team say they have some ‘Unfinished Business’ that needs to be taken care of this 2017 season.
Helping the coach prepare for a 15 week (instead of a 10 week) season meant having his student athletes buy into a different mentality on and off the field. He knew that if his athletes were not classroom ready they would never be game ready. For the off field mental development Coach Ratkevich brought in the PTRG Academy to make sure his athletes understood the importance and value of what they were doing as well as understanding how that value translates into becoming college and career ready. And most importantly, how to use their athletic ability help pay for a great college education and experience while learning how to graduate debt free.
