Larry Smith finishes his junior season and he is applying what he is learning as the offers start to roll in. Smith has 55 tackles, 1 interception and 13 sacks and plans to continue to make sure that the Miami Norland Vikings defense continues to disrupt offenses across Dade County next season. And here’s what really separates Larry from all other Student Athletes in the nation, he is also one of the youngest student athletes in the nation that ranks in the STEALTH TOP 10 with a 4.01 Star Rating.
When asking Head Coach Daryle Heidelburg about Smith coach says,’Larry is a team leader on and off the field’. He continued to say that Smith should do very well in the PTRG Academy because he is a ‘Disciplined individual on the field and in the classroom’.
After completing Lesson #2 of the PTRG Academy Smith says,’What stood out to me was when I was learning about the head coaches day of his life. He has a lot going on. I can use what I’ve learned to show the head coach I stand out more than other players.’
When asked the question after completing topic 6 in lesson #2 about scholarships Larry says,”Until now I never understood my scholarship value’.
‘PTRG Academy is a great program for recruiting and helping you become a man. It helps you make your own decision.’
